What the hell kind of barber is this?

Who is he? He’s a character in All the Rats and Rags, a new musical loosely based off Oliver Twist. It’s set in a steampunk world (steampunk!) and follows the life and death of a Robot named Twitz. (Get it? It’s a pun.) The musical is showing at the 3LD Art & Technology Center from November 17-20. All shows are at 8 p.m. and it’s pay-what-you-can.

Artist takes fight for manners to the street

Last year we were all tickled pink when artist Jayshells used creative signs to remind people not to clip their nails on the subways. This year he’s taking the fight above ground, as he’s debuted street signs that tell New Yorkers not to check Facebook while walking, flick their cigarette butts on the ground and to stop wearing saggy pants (which really should be against the law).

Aww man, here’s another gorgeous time-lapse video of New York

Aww man, I’m a sucker for time-lapse videos of New York City. There’s something majestic about the city that gets me every time. Anyway, the video below, shot by Vimeo user Mindrelic, was shot from various hotel vantage points around the city over a period of a month-and-a-half from mid March to late April.
