Like the most awesome kind of rash, The Funky Apple is looking to expand, and we need some awesome people to help us:
Bloggers: You’re fun, you’re witty, you now where all of the hot spots in the city are, you can smell an open bar from a mile away, and you’ve got your finger on the pulse of New York’s news and events. If this sounds like you, we want you to share your knowledge with everyone else in the city.
Community Leaders: You like to talk. A lot! Which is great because in the Funky Apple community, you’ll get a chance to talk to a bunch of people! We’re looking for someone to help grow the community, post events, encourage forum and chat discussion, and generally become the most-loved people on TFA.
Sales Persons: You guys often get a bad wrap, but we love you, and we’re hoping you’ll help us make the move into profitability. Besides, you see those empty boxes on the side bar that say “sponsors”? Someone’s got to fill them with ads, right?
Compensation: Unfortunately as a start-up, we can’t afford to pay anyone off the bat, but as ad sales come in, we’ll take care of everyone (we promise). So right now we need people that are in it for the fun, for the exposure, and for the love of New York City. Oh yeah, and we’ll buy you pizza and stuffs.
These are work-from-home dealie-o’s, so save your metrocard money. Oh, and unless you’re interested in sales, don’t even think of sending us a resume or cover letter.
