Last week my roommate and I saw the cutest girl on the subway. We ended up getting a picture of her amazing gloves and talking about fashion for half the ride downtown. She also gave us a great tip about the Manhattan Vintage Clothing Show, which is going on tomorrow from 1:00-8:00pm, and Saturday from 11:00 am-6:00 pm. Admission is $15 if you buy tickets online, or $20 at the door. However, you can mention TimeOut NY at the door for $5 off, so it ends up the same price either way.
This expo happens a few times a year, and each show has a different theme. I am particularly excited about this weekend: They are featuring an exhibit on the Little Black Dress, which I regard as one of the most indispensable items in any wardrobe.
I will be there tomorrow, shopping and snapping pictures of stylish New Yorkers – maybe that will include you!
