Here at the Funky Apple, we believe free drinks are a right, and we will do everything in our power to help you find the bars that are offering free drinks. Every friday we’ll post the weekend’s upcoming open bars, and if there are any crazy specials, we’ll pass that along to you as well.
So Introducing our newest feature: the Name Night sidebar widget.
For those that don’t know, there are two bars in Manhattan that have name nights: Antarctica Bar (287 Hudson Street- Google Map), and No Idea Bar (30 East 20th Street- Google Map). These two Bars have a name night, every night.
The premise is simple. If your name is the name of the night, you drink free till 11 pm on weekdays and 1 am on weekends (as long as you bring friends – no one likes an alcoholic.)
Both bars have calendars on their websites, but we thought we’d make things easier for you by putting the names in our side bar widget. We’ll update every morning for your convenience. And if for some reason we forget to, just click on the name of the bar to be taken to their calendar.
You don’t have to thank us. Just make sure you tip the bartender!
