Even if you haven’t been following the World Cup, you’ve probably heard about the Vuvuzela, the South African horn that’s been getting all the attention lately. It’s become South Africa’s version of the bag pipe: a love-it-or-hate-it instrument that has critics likening it a swarm of bees.

Well, the craze has hit New York, and not New York has not taken kindly to it. The Yankees were the first to strike back when they kicked two Vuvuzela-blaring fans out of the Stadium and banned the horn from games this week.
