Watch out, Brooklyn, the thieves are coming for your iPads.

Yes, sad as it makes us, Brooklyn’s first reported iPad theft took place last friday at Fort Greene park.

According to the Brooklyn Paper, the 23-year-old victim was playing with his toy computer on the corner of Park and Wavely avenues when some degenerate snatched the iPad out of his hands and ran away.

The victim wasn’t too bummed, as he was quoted as saying “It was insured.”

But yours isn’t! So please, for the love of Jobs, keep your iPad in your bag when you head into the warzone that is Fort Greene. [Brooklyn Paper]
