You head right. According to a study released by Cornell University (they do those things when they’re not busy killing themselves and busting NCAA brakcets) that mapped the most photographed places on flickr, New York City is the most photographed city on earth, and the friggin Apple Store on 59th street is the 5th most photographed place in the city, coming in ahead of Columbus Circle, Liberty Island, and Yankee Stadium (which doesn’t even show up on the list).
The top 7 spots are (in order): The Empire State Building, Times Square, Rockerfeller Center, Grand Central Station, The Apple Store, Columbus Circle, & Liberty Island.
Great. As if Steve Jobs needed another reason to be obnoxious.
You can view the entire Cornell study here (careful, it’s a PDF).
