Weekend Open Bar Guide: Memorial Day Weekend Edition
If you’re a Yankees fan that is feeling depressed about the fact that you can’t take your iPad with you to games, the Hudson Valley Renegades are there for you. They’ve taken the opportunity to thumb their noses at the Yankees, and are offering free tickets to fans that show up with iPads every Monday night during the season.

MTA updates the subway map
With the V train doomed and the M train destined to replace it, we knew we’d have to see an updated subway map eventually, and the NY Times got a sneak-peak at it yesterday. Sadly, this isn’t quite the same as Fake MTA’s hipster friendly map.
It’s not as drastically different from the old map, but there are some changes: Manhattan is much bigger, Staten Island is much smaller, and City Island (which we’ll talk about in a future post) has made it’s triumphant return.

It’s Fleet Week!
Ladies, are you ready to swoon? (Alma sure is!) We hope so, because the sailors are back in town, and that can only mean one thing: Fleet week is upon us!
Yes, that time of year when tons of Naval ships all visit the city and tons of sailors start popping around Manhattan making women swoon.

Subway App Showdown: iTrans NYC vs Google Maps vs TMaps NY
