You: Hot Police Officer in McDonald’s – m4m

Yesterday – Saturday August 14th, we encountered each other in the McDonald’s on 23rd Street and 2nd Avenue. The wait was taking FOREVER and you asked my blonde lady friend and I if we were in line. I said – “Yes, we’ve been in line for a WHILE…” Anyway, I’m not even sure if you were gay, but you were a beautiful, tall Asian police officer and I was the younger white guy… If you ever see this – I would LOVE to talk to you a little bit… So, shoot me an e-mail, if you’re out there, officer ;)

Poor choice of words. Read the rest of this entry »

Missed Connection Monday: August 9

Posted by Nigel Chiwaya On August - 9 - 2010

We hope you had a great weekend, everyone. We’ll kick things off with a best of craigslist:

penis caught in my zipper at el biet – m4w

i had just gone in for a normal pee, but the way you pounded, and pounded, and pounded on the door screaming “out! i have diarrhea! out! for the love of god come out, its coming out of my butt, pleeeeease!!!” got me so turned on that i got an erection. then, because your kicking started splintering the door, i quickly yanked up my zipper and caught my penis up in the process. i’m sorry again for the screaming as you pushed me down and sat down with the door hanging off it’s hinges, but the look of sheer horror and embarrassment we shared in front of the staff and other patrons looking on before you ran out the back door and climbed over the fence has captured my heart. please describe what i was wearing so i know its you.

Missed Connection Monday: Yankees Edition

Posted by Nigel Chiwaya On July - 26 - 2010

Dave Matthews Band, Zombies, and bad flirting are all a part of this week’s missed connection roundup.

Pride and Predjudice and Zombies – m4w

A woman was sitting between us on the J train leaving Manhattan. I noticed your soft blue eyes and shoulder length red hair when I entered the last car. We exchanged glances. I think you were halfway through your zombie romance book. I was too shy to say anything to you. I got off at the Marcy stop. On the way to the turnstyle I glanced back to see you one more time. We locked eyes for a moment the doors closed and off you went. So here I am still wondering about you. Maybe this will reach you. If not then maybe by chance will cross paths again. Next time I’ll smile and introduce myself.

Look, anyone woman that reads a zombie romance book is a keeper. You find that woman, and you love her forever, damnit!

L train is New York’s most romantic subway line

Posted by Nigel Chiwaya On June - 29 - 2010

Well, how’s this for a surprise?

Craiglist did a study and came up with a report on the most romantic subway lines in the city. The big winner is the L train, which was rated the most romantic, and the Morgan Ave station, which was named most romantic station.

The big loser? The Lexington Ave/59th Street station, which was named least romantic.

So how does Craigslist define romance? We thought you’d never ask:

The findings come from an analysis of ads posted over the period of a recentmonth by Subway-users in the “Missed Connections” section of craigslist NewYork. The ads studied were posted by those who had fallen for a fellow traveler, without getting their contact details, and used craigslist to try and find them.

Now, some might note that the L train runs through Williamsburg, which is a very hipster area. Some might also note that falling in love at first sight and posting a missed connection might be a very hipster thing to do, and that these two facts might skew the results. But we’re not going to say that. Not at all. [Gothamist]
