Last year the MTA launched a trial of Bus Time, their crowd-sourcing service that let riders know when their next bus was arriving, in Staten Island. 433 days later, Bus Time gets called up Triple A ball, as the MTA is debuting the service in Manhattan today on the m34 bus. Now if you’re waiting for the painfully slow m34 you can get an accurate sense of how much faster it would be just to walk by visiting the Bus Time website from your phone. (Here’s the desktop site for those that want to see what all the fuss is about.) Bus Time will make it’s major league debut when it rolls out to the rest of the city by the end of next year.
