Okay. Bed bugs are gross. Can we get that out of the way?
Now that we know that, you should know something. Bed bugs are apparently a plague sent from god to punish the poor and the liberal.
Not making sense? Well let me clarify. According to a Daily News-Marist Poll, 1 in 10 New Yorkers has had to deal with bed bugs. Like we said earlier, bed bugs discriminate: People earning less than $50,000 annually (which isn’t a small sum of change) are twice as likely to have bed bugs as those earning more.
Also, only 2% of Republicans have bed bugs, compared to 12% of Democrats.
And if you think Manhattan’s dirty, get this: Ten percent of respondents in Queens, Brooklyn and Staten Island reported bed bugs at work, compared to 8% in the Bronx and just 3% in Manhattan.
The best case of at-work bed bugs? The Brooklyn district attorney’s office.
